Why Infocomm?

Joining the Infocomm Technology course at Ngee Ann Polytechnic aligns perfectly with my aspirations of acquiring essential skills for creating automated systems and services. This program will not only help me refine my programming skills but also allow me to use artificial intelligence skillfully which is increasingly prevalent in today's digitalised world. By mastering these technologies, I aim to innovate and develop various automated solutions that can significantly improve efficiency and productivity in various domains such as my Fitness Website and Social Media platforms.

I am the Level Head for my school's Robotics CCA, where I led a team of 15 students to fourth place in NP's AeroBot challenge. This showcased my leadership and technical skills. I completed NP's 6-hour entrepreneurship course and submitted a business plan. I also led a team at Aerobot Challenge, further developing my leadership abilities. As Class Vice-Chairman in Secondary 2, I initiated a sign language learning project to promote inclusivity. I edited a video montage for the Singapore Deaf Association, combining technical skills with community service. I marketed our Robotics CCA at school open houses, resulting in high sign-ups. I created a chatbot using Flowise and Gemma, gaining client leads. My YouTube channel showcases my digital marketing skills. I volunteered at Willing Hearts, packing food for the elderly and providing basic services. Following the EAE preview, I prototyped a collaborative platform for NP students to share problem statements, showcasing my ability to address real-world challenges.
